GENERAL FACTS ABOUT MOUNT TEIDE

Mount Teide is located in Tenerife and is famous for being the highest mountain in Spain. With its 3718 meters it is for sure a very impressive volcanic construction of our nature.

The last eruption was 1909, that is already more then 100 years ago. The visit of mount Teide is almost obligatory if you haven’t been there yet. So there are different ways to discover the vulcano:

Probably the quickest way is to take the half day excursion to the cable car station which will give you the possibility to visit almost the top with the cable car. The cable car price is not included in the excursion and have an extra cost of 27.00€.

Another way to discover the Teide National Park is to take the Teide, Masca, Icod & Garachico Tour. This will bring you to all four places mentioned before. A great way to discover a bigger area of Tenerife.

Or another good option for couples is to take the Teide by Night excursion. Where you will have the opportunity to see one of the clearest star skies in the world.
