In the sky of the Teide National Park, the stars shine brighter than anywhere else thanks to the absence of light pollution. It is one of the best places on the planet for stargazing.
The tour starts by taking the Teide cable car to the top of the highest peak in Spain at 3,555 metres above sea level. From there we will watch the sunset and see how the shadow of the Teide spreads over the distance.
If you wish, you can have a picnic at the cable car base station.
After dinner, we will do stargazing in the car park of the cable car base station. Here the Starlights experts will help you to discover the celestial bodies through the long-range telescopes.

Restrictions:
-People with cardiovascular problems, pregnant women or children under 3 years of age are not allowed to take the cable car because of the risk of damage to their health due to the altitude.
-According to current regulations, people with physical or motor disabilities are not allowed to take the cable car, due to the risk of evacuation.
-It is important to bear in mind that in the event of the facilities ceasing to operate for unexpected technical reasons, people at the upper station would have to descend on foot along steep mountain trails.
-Children under 8 years of age are not allowed on this Teide excursion at night.
-People with health problems should consult their doctor before starting this night Teide excursion.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event that weather conditions do not permit the operation of the Cable Car for the Sunset & Stars activity, the sunset will be enjoyed from the Mirador de Chío or from Los Roques de García and the amount of 37 euros; to adults and 18.50 euros; to children in the case of non-residents, corresponding to the Cable Car, will be reimbursed.
In the event that the activity is contracted without transport and the cable car is not operational on the day of the visit, the client will travel to the alternative location by their own means.
