Remember that as it is a wild beach, there are no beach services, so you should bring what you need to spend the day. It is one of the beaches in the north of Tenerife where most photographs are taken. When the tide goes out, the black sand and the creeks appear, creating a beautiful coastal landscape. In addition, the sunsets on this beach are beautiful, the sky is dressed in different shades that photographers know how to capture very well to achieve dream images.

Las Teresitas Beach

This is one of the best known beaches in the north of Tenerife, located near Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Enjoy its golden sand and beautiful palm trees with good shade to lie down and relax. El Bollullo Beach


It is located in the municipality of La Orotava and is one of the most visited beaches by tourists in the north of Tenerife. It is a virgin beach of volcanic sand that stretches for 200 metres divided between the beach and a small cove. It offers crystal clear waters with strong waves, perfect for surfing. Among the services offered we can mention sunbeds, umbrellas, beach bars and parking area near the beach.

Teno Beach

It is a small virgin beach of 30 metres long located at the tip of Teno in the municipality of Buenavista del Norte. From here you can see the incredible cliffs of Los Gigantes and the open sea in all its splendour. The colour of the sea in this area is an intense blue, which makes it very pleasant for tourists. It has a breakwater that protects it from the strong waves, so you will find calm waters to enjoy the sea in peace and quiet. It does not offer beach services so you should be prepared with whatever you need. Nearby is the Punta de Teno lighthouse, a viewpoint and a staircase area from where you can jump into the water for even more fun.

Los Roques Beach

Its name is due to the presence of rocks on the shore that remind us of the volcanic origin of the island. At low tide you can see a dark sandy shore and many creeks. Although it can be reached by car, it is more frequented by hikers who reach it after crossing a route known as the “Sendero del Agua” (Water Path), which is about 5 km long.
